HOW WILL MY DONATION BE USED?

Your donation will be used to help us on a variety of fronts, including:

• Printing additional copies of our handbook
• Helping local farmers and ranchers sustainably maintain their operations
• Engaging in collaborative and mutually beneficial projects with private landowners, conservation districts, watershed planning groups, and others. Types of Projects Include:
  • Agreements not to divert during fish-critical times;
  • Irrigation efficiency upgrades;
  • Switching from surface diversions to wells where appropriate;
  • Moving points of diversion from upstream to downstream;
  • Purchase or Lease of water rights for the state’s trust program.
• Registration fees to attend workshops, conferences, or seminars to keep our staff up-to-date on water and climate change research, information, and efforts around the state.

Plus, every donator who gives a $50 or more will receive a free WRC t-shirt, while supplies last!
