THE Cascadia Conservation District
The Cascadia Conservation District (CCD) serves Chelan County in North Central Washington except for the incorporated cities of Wenatchee and Chelan. The CCD works with local landowners and other agencies to encourage stewardship and conservation of natural resources; their effortsinclude watershed planning, water quality monitoring and protection, streamflow gaging, community fire planning, habitat restoration and enhancement, farm plan development, as well as soil conservation and native plant re-vegetation. The District is also the Lead Agency for watershed planning in Water Resource Inventory Area 46, which encompasses the Entiat and Mad River watersheds.
